What is Furoshiki?
Furoshiki is primarily used for wrapping and carrying items, yet its versatility extends to various other applications.
A 100cm x 100cm furoshiki serves as a convenient eco-bag or basket bag, effortlessly adaptable to different luggage shapes.
It doubles as a practical tablecloth or wall hanging and enhances interior décor.
Utilizes a blend of cotton and linen materials. This furoshiki amalgamates the softness of cotton with the moderate firmness and crispness of linen, resulting in a unique half-linen fabric. It's also versatile as a scarf or shoulder strap.
Showcases Japan's traditional indigo dyeing technique through inkjet printing. This process combines vibrant print colors with the refreshing impression of indigo dye, presenting a distinct visual appeal.
It folds neatly for easy carrying during neighborhood shopping trips and can be easily washed for hygienic use.
*Note:
Depending on the color, there may be noticeable fluffiness or neps (knots of threads formed by intertwined fibers), contributing to the rustic charm of the half-linen fabric.
Carefully crafted in Kyoto Each piece is tagged with [Kyo PrintⓇ], signifying its dyeing and processing in Kyoto, affirming its "Made in KYOTO" authenticity.
Eco-friendly production Inkjet dyeing minimizes water consumption by over 90% during the dyeing process.
