Fusion of English Harness Leather and Italian Leather

This box-shaped coin purse is simple yet fits in your hand with a sense of care and attention to detail. The body is crafted from traditional bridle leather, long-used for saddlery leather in England, while the interior boasts Italian vegetable-tanned oiled nubuck. The bridle leather is robust and sturdy, complemented by the smooth feel and comfortable size of the oiled nubuck.

[Main Body Leather]
The main body is made of [bridle leather] (Color: Evergreen), manufactured as harness leather for decades at [Thomas Ware & Sons], a Bristol-based tannery with over 170 years of history. This leather is pit-tank tanned, soaking fine-fibered, strong leather with beeswax and vegetable oil by hand for over 10 weeks to enhance durability and water repellence. The white powder on the leather surface, called "bloom," symbolizes bridle leather. *The degree of blooming may vary.

[Interior Leather]
The interior is luxuriously crafted from oiled nubuck leather [Texas] (Color: Natural) produced via the bucketta method at the long-standing [Tempesti] company in Santa Croce, Italy, the birthplace of vegetable tanneries. Unlike suede's brushed floor surface, nubuck is processed on the leather's bard (front side), ensuring durability and a smooth touch. [Texas] leather, rich in oil, matures with use, enhancing its luster and color.

[Exquisite Size]
Designed for a comfortable hold, this compact item boasts excellent portability.

[Change Purse]
The box-shaped coin purse's distinctive feature is the large opening compartment, offering quick visibility and access to stored coins. It's hassle-free for storing and retrieving change.

[Hook]
The flap securely opens and closes with a spring-loaded hook, while the brass fabric develops a leather-like patina over time.

[With Money Clip]
Pairing it with a money clip from the same bridle series elevates its style, surely making it your everyday partner.

[Beautiful Kirime Honpaku Finish]
"Kirime Honpaku" signifies the most traditional and valuable finishing method for leather. The kova surface is scraped flat, repeatedly dyed, glued, and waxed, then polished to create a seamless look and feel, amalgamating multiple leather pieces into one. This meticulous process demands time, technical expertise, and understanding of leather traits, symbolizing craftsmen's hand-finishing, not mass-produced.
