If the beeswax wraps you are using start to show signs of use, a beeswax bar can restore it to like-new condition.
How to use beeswax wax bar:
Preparations:
- Beeswax wrap
- Beeswax bar
- 2 cookie sheets (larger than beeswax wrap)
- 4-5 sheets of newspaper
- Iron & ironing board
1. Spread newspaper on the ironing board. Lay a cookie sheet on top and then place the beeswax wrap.
2. Grate an appropriate amount of wax with a slicer onto the wrap and cover it with another cookie sheet.
3. Melt the beeswax with an iron set at low to medium temperature (80-120 degrees).
4. Once the wax has penetrated the entire wrap, carefully remove the cookie sheet and allow it to cool for 30 seconds. You're done!
Please note that due to the nature of the kraft paper used in the packaging, there may be scratches, etc., but this will not affect the product.
