The leather used is Minerva Box by Battarassi Carlo.
Bacchetta leather is a technique that has been used in Italy for a long time, in which leather tanned with vegetable tannin is greased with cow leg oil (oil extracted by boiling the shank bones and unbroken legs of cows). While it takes time to process the leather and the oil does not penetrate easily, the leather has a unique sheen when used, and the oil does not easily come off.
Therefore, it requires almost no maintenance.
It is a traditional technique inherited by very few tanneries.
Compared to other leathers, it does not hide the scars and tigers (wrinkles on the back of the neck) that appear before it is born.
The most important feature of this leather is that it ages and changes in color and texture as it is used.

The hooks are made by PRYM of Italy. The large size prim hooks, which are not often seen in other brands, are used.

[Story]

Dritto Pen started from the idea that it would be possible to carry a pen tray.
At first, we made a sample of a zipper-type pen case that opens to become a pen tray, but the zipper-type pen case had the disadvantage that the pens would inevitably move inside during transportation, causing them to rub against each other.

These days, many high-priced pens and mechanical pencils can be found in stationery.
Since many of them are made of metal and are easily scratched, I felt that the disadvantage of rubbing must be eliminated.

We came up with the idea of a special structure in which the pen tray is rolled up as it is.
By folding the leather like origami and making it three-dimensional, it became possible to roll up the pen tray in the same shape.
This way, the pencil case is not like an existing rolled pen case, and when opened, it becomes a pen tray that is easy to take out.
