Crafted for everyday use, this soup bowl is designed to effortlessly complement any dining table with its non-eccentric shape, making it suitable for daily use. The bowls feature a delightful, chunky shape that fits comfortably in your hand for everyday convenience.

A soup bowl with a warm, chunky design: The beautiful wood grain is showcased using the 'vertical wood' sawing method. To accentuate the grain's beauty, a technique called 'wuki-urushi' (wiping lacquer) is repeatedly applied and carefully wiped off. This lacquering method highlights the wood's natural patterns, offering a matte texture for a stylish finish. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted using domestic zelkova, cherry, and maple wood, offering the warmth of these wood varieties.

These bowls have excellent heat retention and are easy to hold, even when filled with soup. (Available in brown for this size.)

The zelkova grain remains prominent even after lacquering, whereas the grain of the cherry wood becomes less noticeable.

Cautions: Avoid using abrasive tools such as scrubbers and cleansers as they may cause scratches and peeling. After washing, ensure the product is promptly dried and stored away from direct sunlight. Please note that dishwashers, dish dryers, ovens, and microwave ovens are not suitable for this product.

Regarding the uniqueness of wood: Every tree carries its own distinct characteristics. Despite being of the same wood type, variations in color, grain, and occasional knots or scratches may appear on the vessel's surface. While we meticulously inspect for significant flaws, some vessels may exhibit minor imperfections. Embrace the unique natural wood patterns created by nature.
