Maison Masumi proudly presents our original 100% organic cotton peshtemal. Denizli, a region abundant in materials within Turkey, is renowned for its cotton and towel manufacturing. Further into the heart of the country lies Buldan, a hub for hand-woven hammam towels known as Peshtemal, integral to traditional Turkish culture. These Peshtemal towels, meticulously hand-woven from 100% cotton, originate from this area and have been crafted here for generations, cherished by the Ottoman Empire.

Peshtemal, a traditional Turkish bath towel, is thin, lightweight, quick-drying, and soft to the touch. Denizli, known for its cotton and towel production, is a vibrant region within Turkey. Delving deeper into the country, Buldan emerges as a key area for producing these hand-woven hammam towels, essential to the hammam ritual deeply rooted in Turkish tradition. These Peshtemal towels, crafted entirely from 100% cotton, are a hallmark of this region's heritage, appreciated for centuries in the traditional Turkish hammam setting.

We are expanding our lineup to include tableware, interior accessories, and more, all made of natural materials.

What Maison Masumi proposes is a lifestyle without boundaries between the outside and inside of the house. Our lineup includes original pestemals (towels for versatile purposes) and bathrobes made of 100% organic cotton. In 2022, we will introduce a collaborative resort and home collection with a knitting company in Istanbul.

"Maison Masumi's brand story":
Established in 2014, the Maison Masumi brand is the creation of Masumi, a designer with experience in lingerie and ladies' wear. Drawing inspiration from years of travel, especially in Europe, Masumi founded Maison Masumi to propose a wonderful everyday life. In April 2017, an atelier was established in Istanbul, a city that serves as a melting pot of cultures and races.

In 2022, an additional atelier was established in Hamburg, Germany, marking our entry into the European market.

We aim to shift towards a richer, healthier, and sustainable lifestyle surrounded by natural materials at Maison Masumi, steering clear of easily discarded clothes, additives, and plastic.
