This Jikiro is made of Goyomatsu, a precious sacred tree, dried on the potter's wheel for a long time, and painted with beautiful tame-urushi (tame-urushi lacquer).
Such a large piece of material is rare for a pine tree, and it is a good material that has grown over a long period of time.
It is difficult to mass-produce, so we are offering this item only while supplies last.

It is hard to see in the picture, but the grain of the base pine tree comes out through the tame-urushi lacquer.
*The grain of the wood will become more transparent as time goes by. The inside is black lacquered.
The size is 19.6 cm in diameter, so it has a strong presence as a furnishing.
