Comfortable Drying for Both Umbrella and Case

Folding umbrellas are incredibly convenient, but after use, they can easily wet your documents or computer in your bag, potentially leading to mold and unpleasant odors. This project was developed to offer comfort to our supporters, enabling them to use their umbrellas comfortably even in rainy conditions by quickly absorbing and drying rainwater inside the case after use.

Three Features:

1. Dries in about 1 hour*: Waterproofing and moisture dissipation are achieved with our carefully selected materials and structure.

The cover material is made of moisture-proof and moisture-permeable material, while the inner layer consists of quick-drying diatomaceous earth and silica gel. Soda carbonate is used to prevent mold and mildew.

2. Internal Structure

*Test conditions for drying in about 1 hour: Wet a water-repellent folding umbrella with tap water, shake off the water droplets, and store it in the umbrella drying case. Compare the mass of the umbrella drying case before and after wetting.

*In cases of extended periods or heavy rain, it may take more than one hour to dry. In such cases, the umbrella must be removed from the drying case and spread out to dry.

3. Lighter than a smartphone

Our challenge was to achieve both performance and portability. We've realized a product lighter than a smartphone, even with diatomaceous earth and other powders, allowing it to be easily carried in a bag along with a folding umbrella.

The product protects your computer, notebook, documents, and other essential items in your bag from getting wet.

*Please note that depending on the size of the umbrella, there may be a gap at the top from which water may escape.

Three Types of Usage:

By adjusting the fixing point of the holder wire, it can be hung vertically or horizontally on the outside or stored inside the bag.

1. Inside the bag

The moisture-regulating inner lining and moisture-permeable/water-repellent Blizzatec cover enable safe storage of your important bags, PCs, documents, etc., without getting them wet.

2. Outside of bag (horizontal)

Attach the wire sideways to the bag's handle.

3. Outside of bag (vertical)

Attach the wire vertically to the bag's handle.
