This is a rain and shine umbrella made of Koshu-ori, which is produced by making a textile printing pattern using an actual dyed pattern design, printing on the warp threads that have been temporarily woven, and finally expressing them in a woven pattern using the "hogushi weaving" technique. By weaving the warp threads while removing them from the temporary weave, the border line fluctuates and the two colors seem to blend into each other, creating the umbrella fabric. The color variation incorporates the colors of nature, such as plants and fruits, so the umbrella is bright and colorful without being too assertive, making it easy to match with lifestyles and modern fashions.
The umbrella has a 2-way specification with name bands attached to both the front and back of the umbrella so that it can be used as a long umbrella. It can be used functionally even after use in the rain.
