Kinsai craft is a technique established in the Momoyama and Edo periods for applying gold leaf to cloth such as obi belts and kimonos.

This purse is made of cotton beige color with leaf motifs gilded with silver mud.
A Michu wallet is a three-fold wallet that is said to have been used since the Edo period (1603-1867) by travelers to carry money and important documents in their pockets when they set out on their journeys.

The size is approximately 10 cm (length) X 18.5 cm (width) when folded X 23.5 cm (length) when extended.

It has to be wrapped and unwrapped with a string, but the act of doing so gives a sense of Japanese taste.
