Ingredients: Organic cotton*1, beeswax (from Okinoerabu), jojoba oil, pine resin

(*1 Cotton grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers for more than 2 to 3 years, often utilized in large quantities in cotton fields. Organic cotton is also produced in compliance with social norms, ensuring grower safety and preventing child labor.)

What is "Whale La Wrap"? Whale La Wrap is a reusable food preservation wrap, crafted by soaking organic cotton fabric in refined beeswax from Okinoerabu Island, meticulously handmade one by one. Made entirely from natural materials, it can be composted after use without leaving any environmental impact. The beeswax boasts moisturizing and antibacterial properties, ensuring food remains fresh and flavorful for extended periods.

Every winter, humpback whales arrive in the waters of Okinoerabu Island to nurture their young, while spring and summer bring sea turtles laying their eggs. "Whale La Wrap" stems from the desire to "safeguard this magnificent sea where creatures lives unfold".

How to use:
Place it directly over cut vegetables, fruits, cheese, bread, or anything else you wish to wrap, and warm it with the heat from your hands to mold it. Additionally, it can cover bowls, carry utensils, or even serve as a plate. Discover your preferred usage. After use, gently rinse it with water and let it air dry. Depending on usage and care, it can be reused for six months to a year.

Precautions for use:

  • Avoid using beeswax wraps in microwave ovens, ovens, dishwashers, or dryers due to their sensitivity to heat.
  • Do not expose them to oily food, raw meat, or fish, as boiling water cannot sterilize beeswax.
  • Foods with strong acidity like citrus fruits might hasten the wrap's deterioration.
  • To address stains, gently clean with diluted dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge.
  • Due to the beeswax content, refrain from using this product on items that children under 1 year old or those allergic to honey might put in their mouths.
