"FEED THE BONGOS" A species unique to Kenya, the mountain bongo is an endangered species with a wild population of only 70 or so.
They are the largest of the bovine family, and poaching has significantly reduced their numbers over the years, prompting Mt. Kenya Wildlife Conservation Authority to undertake a breeding program to increase their numbers. Kangarooi supports the Save the Bongo Project, and a portion of every Kangarooi purchase goes to feed the mountain bongos.
