The design is a mixture of riverbed umbrellas standing amidst the fresh green trees of Tsurusenkei, a scenic area in Yamanaka Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The outside of the bowl is a gradation of yellowish green, while the inside is a variegated lacquer of red and orange with white spots, giving this large bowl a wabi-sabi feeling. Each bowl is spray-painted by hand by craftsmen, and is dishwasher and microwave-safe.
