Sake cups that you can enjoy ◆wood, lacquer and maki-e all at once
This is a sake cup (guchinomimi, sake cup, sake cup) from the "KOROMO" series, in which you can experience the texture of wood, the beautiful color of lacquer, and the elegance of maki-e at the same time.
The upper part of the sake cup is lacquered in black or vermilion, while the lower part is finished in clear lacquer to show the grain of the wood as it is, with gold or silver maki-e accents in between, creating a simple yet stylish design.
◆The wooden mouth feel is excellent and recommended as a gift.
Wooden sake cups are rarely seen, but they are soft to the touch and excellent.
The lacquered part is also lacquered with "mejiri", which shows the grain of the wood, so it can be used easily.
The sake cups come in two colors: red with a gold line and black with a silver line, so we recommend pairing them as a gift for weddings, golden weddings, and silver weddings.
The lightness of the wood makes it easy to handle, and it can be used to celebrate the elderly, Mother's Day, Father's Day, the 60th birthday, the 77th birthday, and the 100th birthday of a loved one.
