Knowledge of making things leads to various other ideas and knowledge. [We hope to provide a place where people can learn about the structure and principles of free reed instruments by folding and assembling kits under the theme of "Create," "Know," and "Connect.
Commitment to Products
Pepanica was not created with the intention of making a product, but developed from the inventor's spirit of research and playfulness.
When I started researching accordions to make them prettier, I came across a book on three-dimensional origami and was impressed by the fact that it is possible to make a "jabara" from a single sheet of paper. I continued to fold them day after day, and before I knew it, my desk was full of them.
I wondered if it was possible to make sound. I cut a piece of cardboard from a cake box or something like that, built in a reed, and made it into a small musical instrument. After starting workshops, I received feedback from participants and people far away that they would like to make these instruments at home, so I re-researched and completed the "Pepanica Kit. We hope to continue to offer a variety of versions of our products, keeping a playful spirit in mind.
