23. silk tie, Nishijin silk

The motif of this tie is the dragon, a symbol of good fortune since ancient times. This tie features an innovative design in which a sense of dynamism coexists with a sense of discipline through the gradation of the Japanese latticework.

The silk shines differently depending on the angle of view. Please enjoy the intricate weave expression created by the advanced techniques of Nishijin textiles.

The back of the large sword is printed with a dragon design by Hokusai Katsushika.
