This tree card is from the [All Is Calm] series of three folded greeting cards for the holiday season. The series incorporates traditional Christmas motifs into bold geometric shapes, and we decided on the colors and graphics with the dignified winter air in mind.
The L-size card [Tree] expresses tranquility with a simple triangular silhouette representing a conifer used as a Christmas tree and a balance of thin lines (0.15mm) representing leaves.
The gold leaf pattern is slightly gradated, so that the gold becomes slightly darker as it goes down, giving the impression of a moment when snow begins to fall from the sky above.
The stars shining in the sky are contained in similar triangles touching the coniferous tree at opposite angles, creating a relationship as if they were mutually attracting each other.
The card is made of cream-colored NT rascha paper, which is airy and pleasant to the touch. Digital offset printing was then applied, including white and silver special colors, resulting in a finish with a unique presence despite its subdued color tone.
For the envelope paper, a special paper with fine glass flakes was used. When viewed up close, the colorful shimmering effect is pleasing to the eye.
