How to use:
Beeswax wraps can be fitted to dishes and containers with the warmth of your hands and molded into the desired shape. When cleaning, rinse with water or a small amount of dishwashing detergent, dry naturally, and store out of direct sunlight. Please note that due to the nature of the kraft paper used for packaging, there may be scratches or other marks on the product, but this will not affect its functionality.
WannaBee
Longevity of WannaBee Beeswax Wraps:
The WannaBee Beeswax Wraps can be used repeatedly every day, with an average lifespan of approximately one year. When it begins to show signs of use, it can be made to look like new again by grating a small amount of beeswax bar on top of the beeswax wrap with a slicer, melting the beeswax with an iron, and allowing it to soak in.
How to use the beeswax bar:
What to prepare:
- Beeswax wrap
- Beeswax bar
- 2 cookie sheets (larger than beeswax wrap)
- 4-5 sheets of newspaper
- Iron & ironing board
1. Spread the newspaper on the ironing board, lay a cookie sheet on top, and then a layer of beeswax wrap.
2. Grate an appropriate amount of wax with a slicer on top of the wrap and lay the cookie sheet on top of it.
3. Melt the beeswax with an iron set at low to medium temperature (80-120 degrees).
4. Once the wax has penetrated the entire wrap, slowly remove the cookie sheet and allow it to cool for 30 seconds, and you are done!
