The products are manufactured in Japan (Yokohama) using marine plastic waste that has washed ashore on the coast of Japan.
Each product is labeled with the area of origin of the marine plastic waste it was made from. By reading the QR code on the sticker attached to the product, you can see who collected the product.

Shipping

■All items will be shipped together from Orosy's contracted warehouse in Tokyo. Shipping costs are confirmed after all items arrive and are packed. You'll be billed separately for the product cost and international shipping. For details, click here.
■The average arrival period is around 4 weeks. Please note that in case of shipping delays, supplier related as well as any other issues.

■ All food and beverage shipments to the United States require the purchaser's FDA registration number.

This is a coaster of marine creatures [mollusk] from buoy, a brand that transforms marine plastic waste into material.

All buoy's products are made of colors that have accidentally washed ashore without any coloring or other processing.
The plastic is characterized by bright colors, but the mosaic pattern is a bit organic due to the intermingling of multiple colors.

This item is perfect as a small gift for people who like the ocean or people who like colorful colors.

Commitment to Products

We are volunteer members of Technolab Inc., a manufacturer that designs and mass-produces plastic products.
We started developing products using marine debris through our Plas+tech project, a research and development project that has been conducted in conjunction with our main business of developing IoT devices, medical equipment, and other products that cannot be made without plastic. What is the appeal of plastic materials? How should we deal with plastics, which have become a hot topic due to environmental issues? In the course of such exploratory activities, we developed a technology to manufacture plastic not as a mass-produced material, but as a one-of-a-kind craft product.

Through the crowdfunding campaign held in November 2019, we were able to connect with many people who are working to solve the marine plastic problem. We have re-launched as reBirth, buøy, in order to improve our products to resonate with more people in the future.
