Michelle machoto is the brand name of the aprons produced and supervised by the cafe 2022. It is an official brand registered as a trademark with the Japan Patent Office.
The logo is designed with a tulip motif. The logo is mainly embroidered on the hem of the apron as a point of reference.

[Development background]
Noting that there are few well-designed aprons available from major clothing companies and that most fashionable aprons are expensive handmade aprons made by people independent from the apparel field, we wondered if we could create a fashionable and affordable apron.

This floral pattern is designed with wildflowers and vegetable flowers. We want people who like mountain climbing, flowers, and cooking to become friends with aprons as a common hobby. We want to brighten up workplaces and homes with stylish aprons--. We make aprons with these wishes in mind.

[Story]
There are 92 floral designs in total. It took about a year to complete the aprons, redrawing them many times. The finished floral designs are used as the basis for the apron designs. The first apron design failed in the trial production, and we had to change the manufacturing factory and start from scratch. It also took about a year to complete the prototype of the apron. In total, it took about two years to create Michelle Machoto. Currently there are 8 patterns, but 92 patterns will be released sequentially.
