20. ukiyoe / Nishijin silk tie

The famous ukiyoe artist of the Edo period, Utamaro Kitagawa's "Woman Blowing Poppins" and the mysterious ukiyoe artist of the Edo period, Sharaku Toshusai's "Yakko Edobei of Otani Oniji, the Third" are printed on the back of the large sword of this Nishijin silk tie.

The outer fabric is a British check-style Japanese plaid pattern, available in two colors: Seiran and Kurenai.
The lining is "gaudy" and expresses the "Japanese iki" (Japanese style) that Japanese people are particular about what they cannot see.

This item is a gift for a loved one or a Japanese product for overseas customers.
