    A new approach to water repellent leather.
    The soft smooth leather is tanned with a water-repellent material and then treated with a strong water-repellent finish that penetrates to the inside of the leather,
    The water-repellent leather is made by adding water repellent material at the tanning process to the smooth leather with a soft finish and applying a strong water repellent finish that penetrates to the inside.
    Even in strong rain, water penetration through the surface of the leather is mitigated.
