Nekase-cha is sencha green tea made by maturing new tea leaves picked in spring at low temperature. As time goes by, the young tea leaves picked in early summer gradually become rounder in flavor and develop a deep and subdued tea taste.

The variety [Okuyutaka] used in our original blend is a variety that gives a sense of straightness to the tea during the new tea season and slowly settles down over time to give a fuller, richer flavor.
