〜Pursuit of the "beauty" of leather
Leather is a product of nature and living creatures.
Originally created as a byproduct of food production to "wrap" something, the softness and roundness of this ethical material, as well as its oil-soaked sheen, inspired me to start my own leather-making business. It was the beginning of my leather making.

I have been involved in the world of leather for nearly 20 years, and have created a variety of products, from mass-produced items to one-of-a-kind, fully custom-made items. We launched this brand with this thought in mind.

Commitment to our products
One of the beauties of leather products is the beautiful threading of hand-stitching, the precision of machine sewing, and the design and use of distinctive metal fittings that emphasize the shine and texture of the metal. Some of them are also breathtakingly beautiful and have been created through skill, experience, and daily training.

At Has, we use these techniques as a base,
The theme of our design is "wrapping".
The theme of our design is "Wrapping" based on these techniques.

By daring to hide the seams and metal fittings that would normally be visible, we hope to bring out the "beauty" of the leather material and allow the wearer to experience the unique aging process of the leather.

The material used is bucketta leather, a traditional full-vegetable tanning method that is now quietly inherited by only a few tanneries in Italy.
The leather is known to take more time and effort than normal tanning, and is known for its texture created by the firmness of the leather and its high oil content, as well as its unique luster that increases with use.

We combine natural and chemical dyes with our own sensitivity, dye, process, and finish the leather in the image of traditional Japanese colors, and carefully tailor it to bring out the best of the material. We then carefully craft the leather to bring out the best of the material, and by using it over time, we nurture a special "beauty" for the wearer.

It may sound like a cliché, but we would be very happy if our customers could develop their own unique and deeply tasting pieces by repairing and maintaining the items that our craftsmen and producers of the materials put their hearts and souls into and carefully give shape to.
