This is a very rare and luxurious Nishijin silk fan made in Kyoto, using tie fabric as it is.

Nishijin brocade and Kyoto fans both have a history of over 1,200 years, and each fan is carefully made by craftsmen in Kyoto, making it a great souvenir to take overseas. It comes with a fan bag and a box, and together with a necktie of the same pattern, it makes a very nice set gift.
