The Japan Foundation, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, selected this product as one of the 100 best products of Japan. The short wide umbrella was chosen as one of the 100 products representing contemporary Japanese design among designs newly created in Japan (furniture, home appliances, tableware, toys, vehicles, systems, and services) since 2000. The exhibition will tour overseas for 5 to 10 years starting in 2023.
