We tailored the autumn cherry blossoms with two colors of lovely pink Mino Washi.
Indoors, the color is soft. Outdoors, the petals become transparent.
Tortoiseshell-colored beads sway and shimmer at the tips of the autumn cherry blossoms.
As with the popular "Setsubunsou", the position of the flowers can be changed up and down, so it can be worn in two ways!
I have wanted to make this for many years, but could never quite achieve it.
By using "two colors of pink" for the petals, we were able to express the three-dimensionality of the flowers without making the simple design monotonous.
The front side of the Autumn Cherry Blossom has a matte texture with fibers of Japanese paper remaining.
The back side is made of a thick layer of resin to make it smooth and strong.
If you look through it to the light, you can see the fibers of washi paper in the vivid pink color, just like the fibers of real petals.
The red autumn cherry blossoms are eye-catching with their deep color, and the gentle pink autumn cherry blossoms are easy to wear,

About the materials
Mino Washi (machine-made Japanese paper) produced in Gifu Prefecture is used for Akizakura.
Mino Washi is made by bleaching Kozo (paper mulberry), the raw material of Washi, using plenty of water from Nagara River, a clear stream in Gifu Prefecture, for a long time.
Mino Washi is made by pouring the blessings of Gifu into it.
