No additives or coloring agents! Brownstrap Molasses 100% sugarcane, no additives, not even water is added. Brown sugar from Kuroshio-cho, Kochi Prefecture, has a 200-year history.
It is still made in the same way as it has been in the past.
Unlike ordinary brownstrap molasses, it is golden in color and has a refreshing sweetness with no bitterness. It can be used as a syrup like honey or maple syrup, or added to shochu to mellow it. Of course, it can be used for all kinds of cooking and baking.
