This is a Japanese-style coaster made of Tatami mat.
It can be used as a coaster or a rug.

Each Japanese pattern has its own meaning.
This item depicts plum blossoms.
Ume represents perseverance and strength, as it blooms in winter when it is very cold.

These coasters are made of Daiken Kenyaka Omote Ginshiro (checkered surface).
This is a tatami mat surface made of processed Japanese paper and coated with resin.
