It might be the most popular Senreicha. Hojicha. For those familiar with it, hojicha is a tea made by roasting sencha (green tea) until it turns brown and develops a savory aroma.

Generally, hojicha is made from the second and third leaves of sencha, which are cheaper in the Japanese tea world. However, Senrei's hojicha is made from luxuriously roasted first tea leaves. Thanks to this process, the sweetness and flavor of green tea are combined with the fragrance of roasting, resulting in a strong-tasting hojicha.

When we started selling Senreicha, which was originally harvested only during the first harvest, we were asked, "Do you have hojicha?" We were asked if we had any hojicha, so we roasted the first tea. It has become a product that people say, "I can't make hojicha with second-grade green tea now. We have many repeat customers.

The tea bags are made of biodegradable material that can be returned to the soil. You can put them in compost as they are. There is a 3g x 1 packet for trial or small gifts, a 3g x 10 packet for souvenirs or for those who usually drink it in a mug, etc., and a 5g x 30 packet for those who drink it every day in a teapot or bottle.
