This is a high-grade soup bowl made of carefully selected Mizume cherry wood and finished with hard materials.
The base is made of a solid base, and the surface is coated with linen to increase the strength of the wood.
The bowls have a long shelf life after being painted, and the smell of the lacquer is gone, so they can be used immediately.
The maki-e technique of "Nichigetsu (sun and moon) Maki-e" is said to have imitated the flow of time by representing the sun and the moon by applying gold and silver leaves. The plump, cocoon-shaped bowl is easy to handle.

*It can be used as a soup bowl or a simmered dish bowl as it has a little depth.
