Materials: leather, lacquer, metal powder, etc. (in a paulownia box)

This is a small honeycomb-shaped brooch with the toko (back) side of tanned leather coated with Urushi lacquer. Scrap materials generated from other leather products were utilized. It is characterized by its lightness, the luster of Urushi lacquer, and the glitter of Maki-e.

There are two colors, black and red. It comes in a paulownia wood box, making it ideal as a gift.
The arrow feather, tortoise shell, and hemp leaf are all traditional Japanese patterns that bring good luck.

The structure is covered with a thin film of lacquer to coat the relatively hard leather, so there is no problem under normal circumstances, but please note that the lacquer coating will crack if strong impact or bending force is applied.
