    The octagonal dish is hand-painted around the perimeter in purple and yellow of the Kutani Gosai colors, like a watercolor painting.
    It can be placed in front of each person at the dining table as a place setting (position plate), and then each person can freely serve food on this plate or use it as an assortment plate in the center of the dining table. This dish is popular as a gift and for home use.
