The hemp leaf pattern is a traditional Arita-yaki porcelain pattern. A set of a pair of tableware with good luck that can be used for a lifetime.

This luxurious tableware with the hemp leaf pattern has been popular since ancient times and is considered very auspicious for a healthy life and as a charm against evil spirits. The hemp leaf pattern is created using a traditional technique called sumi-hajiri, often used in the Nabeshima domain kilns of Arita-yaki porcelain, and the body is lavishly glazed with a beautiful, glossy lapis lazuli glaze. The body is richly glazed with a beautiful and lustrous lapis lazuli glaze. The deep ocean-blue color and uniquely intricate shape are carefully crafted one by one by skilled Arita-yaki porcelain craftsmen.
