Momo-no-Sekku, a celebration of Japanese traditional culture, embodies the joy of arranging dolls together as a lasting expression of parental love. NARADOLLHIGASHIDA presents an exclusive Ohinasama, crafted with profound sincerity, aspiring to resonate with this heartfelt sentiment.

Each NARADOLLHIGASHIDA creation is meticulously handmade using the 'Nara Itto-bori' technique, translating to carving with one sword and one soul. This method, named for the dedication imbued into each stroke, entails bold carving on large wood surfaces, complemented by delicate coloring using Japanese paints and gold leaf.

Originating 800 years ago in Nara, Nara Itto-bori carving gained artistic prominence during the Edo period under master craftsman Morikawa Toen. Renowned sculptor Hirakushi Tanaka revered Toen's work, further elevating the art form.

NARADOLLHIGASHIDA reimagines Nara Itto-bori carving, aiming to revive its original essence as a cherished part of everyday life. Integrating modern design sensibilities, it seeks to harmonize this ancient craft with contemporary times.
