■Spinning the global environment for the next generation through art by people with disabilities
This is a canvas on which art works are printed on a fabric made of sustainable paper yarn [TSUMUGI], which is made from used paper resources and unused thinned wood.
The project is a collaboration with Inclusive Japan, a non-profit organization that promotes diversity and inclusion as an initiative to create opportunities to think about the importance of forests, Satoyama, and biodiversity conservation and to realize an inclusive society rich in diversity, and is the first organization in Ehime Prefecture to provide continuous employment support for people with disabilities using arts and crafts as a training medium. In collaboration with Inclusive Japan. Two artists from Hikari no Atelier have created works of art under the theme of "Mt. Rokko, Kobe," with the image of a lush green forest, expressing their inspiration and feelings toward the forest.
With canvases made of fabrics utilizing the characteristics of paper threads and frames made of unused thinned wood, visitors can feel close to the natural environment and enjoy the diversity of art by people with disabilities as interior decorations.

I have been using Hikari's studio since September 2017.
Combining various motifs such as her favorite fruits, flowers, and things she researched on the internet, she creates original works with happy forms and colorful colors. We use pencils to draw preliminary sketches, then mark the borders with magic markers and color them with colored pencils and pens. Origami and papier-mâché works are also created. Acrylic paints are also used. We will also come up with a title for the work.
This time, I tried acrylic paint by combining [my favorite things. My favorite green forest, a tree, a flower, and a heart of my favorite feeling. I did my best with the brush. I would love to live in such a forest].
