    We roasted the tea slowly in a retro [hojicha] machine, which gives a pleasant feeling of time passing, as if the time was ticking gently.
    The carefully roasted [hojicha] gives a deep aroma and richness that cannot be produced by ordinary methods, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious cup.

    Please enjoy the unique roasting method using a hojicha machine built more than 60 years ago, which cannot be mass-produced.

    It goes well with any kind of food, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, and international cuisine.
    Please use it when you want to spend a luxurious moment easily or for a meal on a special occasion.

    [Houjicha]
    This hojicha has a light taste and gorgeous aroma.
    Hojicha is naturally low in caffeine.
    It is safe for children and the elderly to drink at night.

    ～ How to make this delicious tea
    [Hot tea]
    1) Put a heaping tablespoon of tea leaves in an earthenware kettle.
    2) Pour boiling water and wait 3 to 5 minutes before drinking.

    [Cold tea]
    1) Put about 1 heaping tablespoon of tea leaves in a filter-in bottle.
    2) Pour water and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before drinking.

    *In both cases, tea leaves can be left in the bottle.
