    This lacquer brooch is made of natural wood and finished in the shape of a butterfly.
    It is painted with Hon-Urushi lacquer and finished with Raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) and polished maki-e technique using gold and silver.
    The flowing mother-of-pearl inlay pattern and coral-like vermillion gold are beautifully designed.
    A pin is attached on the back.
