We created this soup bowl for everyday use.
It is designed to fit in with any dining table, not in an eccentric shape, so that it can be used in daily life without being overbearing.
The bowls have a lovely, chunky shape that fits well in the hand and can be used every day.

A soup bowl with a warm, chunky design
[The beautiful grain of the wood is expressed by using the "vertical wood" method of sawing.
In order to make the grain look beautiful, a process called "wuki-urushi" (wiping lacquer) is repeatedly applied and then wiped off.
The lacquer is applied using the "wuki urushi" method, in which the lacquer is repeatedly applied and wiped off in order to show the beauty of the grain of the wood.
The matt texture of the lacquer is used for a stylish finish.
Each piece is carefully handmade using domestic cherry and zelkova wood.
You can enjoy the warmth of the wood.

It is easy to hold even if you put soup in it, as the heat is not easily transferred.

The grain of zelkova is clear even when lacquered.
The grain of cherry wood becomes less noticeable when lacquered.

Cautions
Please do not use abrasive items such as scrubbers and cleansers as they may cause scratches and peeling.
Do not leave the lacquer to soak in water, and wipe it dry immediately after washing.
Store out of direct sunlight.
Dishwashers, dish dryers, ovens, and microwave ovens are all non-safe.

About the individuality of wood
Each tree has its own individual characteristics.
Even if they are the same type of wood, the color and grain may vary, and some may have knots or scratches that show on the surface of the vessel.
Please understand that some vessels may have some knots and scratches, although we check for too large knots and scratches when we inspect them.
