The production area of high-grade gyokuro, the Yame region of Fukuoka Prefecture, features a unique inland climate with high daytime temperatures and cool nights. The area is blessed with fertile soil, abundant groundwater, and experiences a high annual rainfall of 1,600-2,400 mm.
Premium Yamecha Gyokuro Roasted Tea is crafted by carefully selecting the stems of rare gyokuro grown in Fukuoka Yame and roasting them using the shallow roasting method to bring out their elegant aroma. This Yame gyokuro roasted tea offers an addictive Yame gyokuro flavor and a savory-sweet richness that cannot be experienced with regular hojicha.
The recommended brewing method is to simply add one tea bag to boiling hot water and brew for 30-60 seconds. The elegant aroma will soothe and calm you, warming you from the core.
The pyrazine contained in roasted gyokuro tea has a relaxing effect that calms the mind and warms the body by expanding blood vessels, making it ideal for "warming up." It is expected to improve sensitivity to cold and relieve fatigue.
The tea bags are crafted in a triangular tetra mesh type for easy extraction. The tea leaves spread widely in a large space, and the aroma and taste are extracted as if brewed in a kyusu (Japanese teapot). Made from plant-derived materials, the tea bags are kind to the body and the environment.
