New flower vase created in collaboration with ◆Kiyomizuyaki
A collaboration with Kiyomizuyaki porcelain was realized in Kyoto. The Ichirin series of vases are made of Kiyomizuyaki porcelain and finished with lacquer. This product is the smallest of the three sizes in the Ichirin series.
The series name "Ichirin" of course means a vase for a single flower, but it also derives from the unique design based on the concept of "standing alone with dignity.
It is a new type of vase that combines the characteristic form of Kiyomizu-yaki porcelain, which is difficult to achieve with wood, and the glossy, deep color and beauty of lacquer.
Two colors are available. You can enjoy the contrast between the texture of porcelain and lacquer.
The lacquered part is available in two colors, black and vermilion. The beauty of each color stands out in contrast with the whiteness of the porcelain itself, which cannot be achieved with lacquerware.
◆The Ichirin series expands new possibilities of lacquer
[The Ichirin series flower vases are produced in collaboration with Kiyomizu-yaki porcelain, which allows for a greater degree of freedom of form than is possible with conventional lacquerware. The combination of the unique texture of porcelain and the beautiful color of lacquer is a new experience for the customer.
There are three sizes available, each with a different form. The beautiful form can be used in both Japanese and Western spaces, so it is possible to create an enjoyable space by combining different sizes.
The designer is Satoshi Umeno (UMENO DESIGN).
