    Vegan leather is a material that reproduces the texture and color of genuine leather by repeated dyeing by craftsmen. Insole and sole materials are also mixed with pigments by hand by craftsmen. The coloring is affected by temperature and humidity, so each lot has a different hue and grain (wrinkle). We hope you will enjoy it as the individuality and taste of each product.

    We at Bell have been making shoes for over 50 years in Nagata, Kobe, which is known as the town of shoes. While overseas production has been increasing in recent years, we insist on "Made in Japan" and use materials made in Japan.     We make our shoes in our own workshop from designing and cutting, and through many processes. We conduct numerous tests and meetings to ensure that our products are the best possible, and our skilled craftsmen carefully produce even the parts that cannot be seen one by one.     Most of Belle&Sofa shoes are made of vegan leather, a new Japanese material that has the same structural fiber as genuine leather. By incorporating synthetic leather, we have overcome the shortcomings of the leather, such as the time it takes to get used to it and its susceptibility to rain and mold. In addition, the use of a [highly resilient] urethane material in the insole provides a comfortable and less tiring fit by absorbing shock and reducing foot swelling.
