    This is one of Rosanjin's most popular and representative dishes with a twin-fish design.
    In China, this twin-fish design, which represents two fish in contrast, has often been seen on earthenware, bronze, and ceramics since the Neolithic Age, and was established in this form in the Han Dynasty (2nd century B.C.).
    Rosanjin also dealt in antiques, so he was well versed in the ancient Chinese situation, and the way he painted the twin fishes in the imposing Kutani green color is truly wonderful and unique.
    The fact that he painted the twin fishes in the imposing Kutani green color is considered to be the splendor that is typical of Rosanjin. The size of this piece, about 30 cm in diameter, is close to the original size, and it was in the collection of the Shiraginya Ryokan in Yamashiro,
    I was able to see it often. Under the guidance of Mr. Masaaki Hirano, who was Rosanjin's secretary and is famous as a Rosanjin commentator, a set of five 15 cm diameter plates with twin fish patterns was once offered as a project of Mitsukoshi Department Store. We have made several sizes in response to various requests.
