This ancient process, called shibo-urushi, known for its durability and non-slip properties, is often applied to tray backs. The SHIRASAGI sibo series leverages this practical method, offering a sensation akin to fine leather that comfortably fits your hand and absorbs moisture.

The series features eight vibrant color variations, allowing you to choose your favorite.

Crafted to suit modern dining tables using traditional construction methods, Shibo-Urushi combines tradition and practicality by providing a durable and non-slip finish that complements contemporary dining aesthetics.

Lacquer Finishing × Sibo: The bowl's interior and base are finished with lacquer, while the exterior boasts a shibi-urushi finish.
