Tussah nylon is used, which has a wrinkled appearance that is naturally created during dyeing. While being thin and lightweight, it is strong and durable, and has water repellency and UV-blocking properties. The matte cotton-like coloring with reduced luster and the soft, uneven wrinkles that do not come from wrinkle processing give it a unique [natural despite being nylon] finish.

The name "Crumple" comes from the fact that the wrinkles look like crumpled paper, and SiiLo is thinking of calling it "Crumple Nylon.
