From leather selection to dyeing and sewing, each process is carefully carried out one by one.
This business card case is made of indigo-dyed leather [migaki]*.

Many ordinary business card cases are made of a single piece of leather to reduce material costs and production time, or use cloth or the reverse side of leather for the parts that cannot be seen,
This business card case uses 1.7 times as much leather as usual, and everything from the part that cannot be seen from the outside to the thick part called "gusset" is made by pasting two pieces of indigo-dyed leather together.
The gusset is a through gusset that can be raised or lowered depending on the amount of business cards.
It is the most time-consuming process, but it is easy to use and beautifully finished business card case.

It is a simple design, but it exudes a modicum of elegance in business situations and does not spoil the impression of the person using it.

    *What is indigo-dyed leather [migaki]?
It is indigo-dyed leather that has been polished on the surface to give it an elegant luster and feel.
We have obtained a grade of 4-5 in dyeing fastness (a test used in the apparel industry) through many years of trial and error so that the leather can be used safely even if it comes in contact with white bags or clothes.
The leather is dyed many times to make it more durable, so it takes more time and effort, but it is a leather that can be used for a long time.
