Hogara was created by female employees of a textile company.

"Why don't we make what we want now?"

From that simple idea, a group of women began working in various fields. Because it comes in direct contact with the skin, both the material and the sewing are safe.

I am particular about Japanese-made products.

We make a lot of rain goods ourselves from the design stage.
It's like drawing in a clean, blank sketchbook.

The design can be used to arrange motifs in nature, to imagine a child's smile, and to picture couples having a pleasant conversation under their shared umbrellas.

We primarily produce bags using water-repellent, breathable, and sturdy fabrics.

Some models feature waterproof fabric suitable for use in typhoons and other adverse weather conditions.

Atelier Kyoto Nishijin manufactures and sells purses, pouches, and bags using Nishijin textiles from Kyoto, designated as traditional Japanese crafts.

A modern revival of traditional craftsmanship, based on the concept of cute everyday Japanese sundries, is recommended for those who want to enjoy Japanese fashion.
