Hexagonal Seto ware with one corner dyed
This simple dish is produced using the traditional technique of "Kake-Shate" in Seto, a place famous for its pottery, and is a good example of pottery.
The colored glaze, which is dyed only in one corner, is made of six colors: [Shu], [Kisai], [Ame], [Celadon], [Oribe], and [Ruri], which are typical colors of Seto Yaki.
Hexagons, which have long been popular as a lucky motif, are shapes that are connected like a beehive.
It is wonderful to arrange several pieces side by side and coordinate them on the table as if they were connected.
Vessels that can be used every day
The fine-density clay is baked at high temperatures, making it strong and resistant to cracking and chipping.
