Commitment to products
The city of Hirosaki in Aomori Prefecture is the top apple producer in Japan.
It is an apple tree that brings us bounty every year, but when it is done with its role, the rest, mostly for firewood, is disposed of. This is because the material can not be removed to be used as wood, and there are many milestones that require much work to process.
The apple trees we use are all done by ourselves, from the plantation to the cutting, sawing and drying. We can only use 50% of them, but we put a lot of effort into making them as a local resource and because we want to introduce the unique texture of apple trees.
