It may be the most popular Senreicha. Hojicha. For those who know it, hojicha is a tea made by roasting sencha (green tea) until it turns brown and has a savory aroma.

Generally, hojicha is made from the second and third leaves of sencha, which are cheaper in the Japanese tea world, but Senrei is made from luxuriously roasted first tea leaves. Thanks to this process, the sweetness and flavor of green tea is combined with the fragrance of roasting to create a strong-tasting hojicha.

When we started selling Senreicha, which was originally harvested only from the first harvest, we were asked, "Do you have hojicha? We were asked if we had any hojicha, so we roasted the first tea. It has become a product that people say, "I can't make hojicha with second-grade green tea now. We have many repeat customers. We have 30g, 80g, and 180g packaged as souvenirs and for everyday use.
